47 Wide-Field Endoscopic Mucosal Resection Versus Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection for Laterally Spreading Colorectal Lesions: A Cost-Effectiveness Analysis

Endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) is advocated as a superior treatment approach for large laterally spreading colorectal lesions (LSL). Its key advantage over e-field endoscopic mucosal resection (WF-EMR) pertains to en bloc resection and potential cure of low risk submucosal invasive cancer.
