218 Outcomes of Peroral Endoscopic Myotomy for Treatment of Esophageal Achalasia With a Median Follow-Up of 4 Years

      Seven years after its introduction, peroral endoscopic myotomy (POEM) has received wide acceptance as a highly effective and safe treatment for esophageal achalasia. Short-term and small-scale studies are ample but long-term large-scale studies are few. Studies on POEM failure are even more limited given the effectiveness of the treatment.
